Community Manager

PrideNow San Francisco, CA (Onsite) Full-Time



What are we looking for in our Community Manager?

Russell Tobin & Associates is currently seeking a Community Manager to work for one of our top global tech clients! As the San Francisco Community Manager on the Going Out team, you will be responsible for creating and executing in-person events that foster connections between Merchants and Consumers, driving in-store sales and community engagement. You will serve as our brand ambassador, deeply knowledgeable about San Francisco's events and food scene, and capable of coordinating and operationalizing events from start to finish.

Pay: $45-$50/hr. depending on experience

Location: San Francisco, CA 94107

The Skills We Need

  • Identify and Connect with Trending Events: Find impactful events that resonate with the community and align with our product to connect new users to Going Out.
  • Create New Events: Communicate our core value propositions to customers through engaging and exciting events, embodying our event production standards.
  • Operational Execution: Coordinate logistics, manage vendor partners, activation staff, and ensure smooth event operations. Address and solve guest issues with resourcefulness and creativity.
  • Event Ownership: Oversee all aspects of public events including hospitality, production, execution, client management, and logistical needs from setup to reporting.
  • On-the-Ground Team Leadership: Foster a positive work environment focused on motivation, teamwork, and excellent customer service during events. Encourage team participation and focus on event execution and customer hospitality.
  • Product Improvement: Collaborate with research and marketing to gain a deeper understanding of the consumer audience and provide insights to inform product development and strategy.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in events production
  • 3+ years of management experience in the hospitality industry
  • 1-2 years sales or customer service experience
  • Proven track record of driving successful go-to-market launches that drive adoption and bottom line impact
  • Vendor/third party management experience
  • Valid CA Driver’s License
