Shift: 1st Shift, Mon-Fri 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide essential support to our team, working closely with suppliers, production staff, and vendors to manage inventory and streamline purchasing processes. The role requires an individual with strong organizational skills, communication abilities, and computer proficiency, who is comfortable handling scheduling, managing inventory counts, and troubleshooting vendor issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage parcel receiving in the stockroom, ensuring accurate and timely follow-up on product ship dates.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to address purchase order (PO) and invoicing issues.
- Collaborate with Production and Engineering teams to add new parts to the stockroom and process item ordering requests.
- Update stockroom inventory, including adding and obsoleting parts as required.
- Conduct inventory counts and audits to ensure accurate stock records.
- Act as a backup purchaser in the absence of plant purchasers.
- Support additional administrative projects as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED

Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in scheduling, filing, and handling calls

Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Lotus Notes or similar systems
- Experience in calendaring and inventory management
