Assistant Financial Controller

What are we looking for in our Assistant Financial Controller?

We are working with a large Irish service industry client who is seeking to hire an Assistant Financial Controller for their Dublin city center office.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Finance office, reporting daily to the Cluster Financial Controller

The role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to broaden their exposure with a large group and there are excellent progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing the day-to-day finance operations
• Ensure a rigorous financial control and reporting environment is in operation
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Contribute towards process improvement
• Manage queries from internal and external parties
• Assist with the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Academic Credentials: Part-qualified accountant actively pursuing completion of their qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or similar).
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, essential for effective interactions across multiple departments.
• Career Progression: A CV that demonstrates clear professional growth and potential to advance to higher financial roles.
• Experience: Proven experience with end-to-end account management, involvement in management accounts, and some financial analysis

What’s on Offer

• Schedule: This is a full-time position requiring onsite presence 5 days per week.
• Salary: €45,000 per annum + Excellent benefits package including complimentary lunch, study package and additional discounts.
