Responsibilities:

 

We’re looking for an experienced ReactJS Engineer to join our team who is passionate about developing cutting edge user experiences while driving industry best practices and accessibility standards. The ideal candidate for this job will have a proven track record of applying expert techniques to deliver highly scalaple browser applications using ReactJS.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

If this is you, you’ll be working with members of the Legal & Contracts Engineering team to deliver a premium user experience integrated with Client’s legal data platform enriched with our AI capabilities to enhance the way we do business. You will translate design documents into pixel perfect views and develop ReactJS components that serve the technical and non-technical stakeholder requirements, adhering to enterprise standards and seamlessly integrating with the broader Client ecosystem. Core accountabilities of this job include:

  • Participating in architectural design sessions with the team’s engineers
  • Convert business requirements into reusable ReactJS components
  • Translate design specifications to pixel perfect views using ReactJS, Typescript and SCSS
  • Implement accessibility features according to Client’s ADA standards
  • Implement deployment pipelines using Client’s CI/CD (Jenkins and Github Actions) for static website hosting
  • Assist in the task breakdown to convert designs into development tasks
  • Participate in engineer code reviews via GitHub
  • Mentor junior engineers through codevelopment practices such as pair programming

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, leadership, and your peers within the engineering team to ensure the successful delivery of the software. Additionally, you will work with other technology teams that lead the up and down stream solutions to coordinate dependencies.

Required Skills:

 

  • Proven ability to deliver highly integrated software applications with complex dependencies
  • Proven experience as a member of a large project / project team
  • Outstanding collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills
  • High tolerance for ambiguity and changing priorities
  • Familiarity with popular ReactJS workflows (Flux, Redux)
  • Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years using design specifications to develop views using HTML/HTML5 and CSS/SCSS/SASS
  • Experience with common front-end development tools such as Yarn, NPM, Node, etc.
  • Familiarity with popular Global State management packages for such as Redux, Flux and React Context
  • Experience with various build tools and website hosting patterns
  • Experience integrating websites with various REST APIs
  • Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders and product managers to drive requirements and delivery
  • Experience in an Agile or Scrum development environment, including a demonstrated ability to deliver software applications in this environment

 

Nice to have:

  • Prefer local candidate but open to remote if highly qualified
  • Data they will be working with is highly confidential, professionalism is key
  • Previous experience with AI not required but a plus
