Client Accounting Specialist
What are we looking for in our Client Accounting Specialist?
Our client is looking for a Client Accounting Specialist to join their Finance department. This position can be based from any of the following offices: Bay Area (CA), Seattle (WA), New York (NY) or Washington D.C.
Job Description:
This individual will have overall responsibility for managing Partners’ client portfolios including billing, collections, and account analysis. They will work collaboratively with Partners to review engagement letters and administer special billing arrangements to produce bills in accordance with same. They will manage client accounts receivables, provide management with status reports, various client analysis and assist clients in resolving questions and/or problems regarding their accounts. This is a hands-on position that involves managing a high-volume portfolio in a fast-paced environment while utilizing sound business judgment, as well as analytical and negotiation skills.
The qualified candidate will have 3-5 years of billing and accounting experience, strong written and verbal communication skills, solid time management and prioritization skills, work well in high-pressure and team environment, and be proficient with Excel. Must be flexible to work overtime as needed during time critical deadlines such as month-end and year-end closing. Prior legal billing experience preferred. Corporate & IP/TM experience desired; Aderant and legal e-Billing experience a plus.

A discretionary bonus for eligible employees may also be available based on performance. Additional information about employee eligibility for benefits and discretionary bonus will be made available upon request.
Rate/Salary: $74,000 - $98,750
