Russell Tobin's client, the multinational mass media and entertainment conglomerate company is hiring for a Marketing Assistant in Los Angeles, CA

Job Title: Marketing Assistant, Integrated Promotions
Location: Onsite (Monday-Thursday) / Remote (Friday)
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm PST
Pay Rate: $18/hr. to  $22.09 /hour

Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant to provide administrative support to two executives from the Integrated Promotions team. This role involves a range of administrative tasks, including scheduling, travel coordination, and office support, with an emphasis on maintaining efficiency and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Answer phones, schedule meetings, manage calendars, complete expense reports, coordinate travel arrangements, handle mail, and arrange courier services.
  • Presentation and Archiving: Assist with the preparation of presentation decks and organize campaign materials for archiving.
  • Office Support: Provide support for team directors by ordering supplies, managing equipment needs, IT support, furniture requirements, temporary staffing, and other miscellaneous needs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1-2 years of prior assistant experience required; experience in the entertainment industry or production environment preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Keynote.
  • Capabilities: Ability to prioritize tasks, work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Professionalism: Must exhibit professionalism and confidence in interactions with executives, show producers, and talent, both in-person and over the phone.
  • Work Ethic: Ability to work under tight deadlines, with autonomy and decisiveness.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Four-year college degree preferred, with a focus in Marketing.
  • Additional Experience: Disney administrative or entertainment studio experience is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, openness to collaboration, quick adaptability, and the ability to develop strong relationships with internal teams and external agencies/vendors.

Additional Information:

  • Potential for Extension: There is a possibility for extension based on performance.
  • Key Responsibilities: Coordinating schedules, booking conference rooms, managing initial interactions with agencies, managing shipments, and storage.
