Job Title: Instructional Designer
Pay: $58.00 - 65.00/hour (based upon experience)
Duration: 2-month contract (W2) - possible extension/conversion based on fit & performance
Schedule: Monday – Friday // 40hrs/week
Location: Remote - EST time zone preferred - schedule needs to align with London time zone
Brief Summary:
We're looking for a creative Instructional Designer with a passion for developing interactive and engaging eLearning and instructor-led experiences. Our client's team develops and maintains a world-class leadership and soft skills onboarding program for new hires. They are looking for support in enhancing their existing content as well as building out new supplemental training products.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively within the team and subject matter experts to define learning objectives and deliverables.
- Create and implement new training guides
- Global Ops Learning & Development - training across the globe supporting Tier 3 Leadership and Development Group (NextGen)
- Work directly in Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise to create rough outline structure for courses
- Work with lead on refinement of creations
- Create evaluations on creations for success and knowledge engagement
- Creating and completing training material
- Perform needs analysis and evaluate existing content to identify the most appropriate content enhancements to support the audience and learning objectives.
- Create engaging and valid learner evaluation tools that prove successful knowledge transfer
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in instructional design.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with instructional design authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Rise.
- Fluency in Adobe Premier and After Effects
- Strong organization, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's in Instructional Design or a related field (preferred).
- Knowledge and application of instructional theories, adult learning, and knowledge management theories
