Senior React Developer – London – 6 months contract

Highly skilled React Developer to join a dynamic FX forward pricing team. The individual will be working closely with Trading and Quantitative Analysis users, contributing to the design and development of a new pricing UI for the FX forward trading business. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of finance, quantitative analysis, and cutting-edge front-end development.

Responsibilities:

- Design and develop complex, real-time, web based front ends within a front office banking

environment.

- Recommend and implement best practices for UI development, ensuring optimal functionality and user experiences.

- Address and resolve build and deployment issues, ensuring seamless integration within the CI/CD pipeline.

Requirements:

- Proven expertise in React development, including a deep understanding of the build and deploy process, testing, and CI/CD practices

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to recommend and implement UI development options and understand the limitations of various functionalities

- Comprehensive development practices with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and issue resolution beyond just writing React coded

- Experience with automated testing frameworks and the ability to innovate testing processes.

- Familiarity with Maven build and deploy, and continuous development cycles.

- Strong core Javascript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SaSS development.
