Title: Senior Financial Accounting Analyst
Location: 100% Remote (EST Hours)
Job Type: Long Term Contract
Pay: $55 - $63 per hour DOE

Duties:
Provide accounting support for the Disney Vacation Club Condominium Associations from a financial reporting aspect. Ideal candidates will possess experience in financial statement preparation and presentation (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow) with a background in conforming with GAAP.
Prepares journal entries, account reconciliations and analyzes financial results
Supports workstreams on behalf of all the Associations that could include property taxes, insurance, bank transfers and regulatory compliance
Prepares financial statements and develops variance explanations for presentation to executive leaders

Basic Qualifications:
The appropriate candidate must have a strong accounting background: balance sheet, P&L, reconciliations, etc.
Excel experience required, with SAP experience a plus.
Proficient in all aspects of accounting principles and financial reporting
Ensure compliance with financial regulations
Demonstrated strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Strong advanced Excel modeling skills and the ability to work with large amounts of data and ensure accuracy
Strong analytical and accounting skills Proven ability to perform ad hoc analysis in a fast-paced dynamic environment and ability to work with a sense of urgency and curiosity
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent team player with solid interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in providing financial support within the timeshare industry
Working knowledge of SAP, Longview and Power BI
Experience with Fund Accounting
Certified Public Accountant

Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent
