What are we looking for in our Sales Learning and Development Program Manager?

Russell Tobin & Associates is currently seeking a Sales Learning & Development Program Manager to work for one of our top global tech clients in Chicago, IL! The Sales Learning & Development Program Manager provides the advertising sales team with necessary coordination support and program management.

Pay: $47-$53/hr. depending on experience

Location: Chicago, IL

Schedule: Hybrid Model- M-F 8a-5p

Description:

Partnering with the advertising sales and operations teams, the sales learning and development program manager will develop and execute impactful, data-driven learning initiatives. This role is responsible for learning technology management, content distribution and tracking, training scheduling, training communication, and stakeholder engagement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Intake training requests for the advertising team
  • Proactively analyze training needs across the advertising sales team
  • Measure training effectiveness
  • Schedule and communicate global training initiatives
  • Partner with sales, marketing, and operations leads to develop, execute, optimize and assess learning and development program
  • Build a trusted relationship with sellers, marketers, and ops team members
  • Solicit and analyze feedback to continuously iterate on the learning and development strategy
  • Use performance data to identify knowledge or skill gaps across the sales team
  • Maintain sales learning and development software and systems

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
  • Proven record of managing learning and development programs
  • 3+ years experience in a high-performance organization in sales, enablement, program management, or learning and development
  • A strong understanding of the environment of a customer-facing organization, including sales content, tools and training
  • Subject matter expertise in digital marketing and online advertising
  • Ability to work through ambiguity and drive for clarity of direction
  • Experience developing courses or trainings on technical systems and tools
  • Experience with learning management systems
  • Experience with e-Learning authoring tools
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Passionate about building foundations and willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
  • Flexible, resilient, problem solver who is passionate about forging new paths within partnership teams.
  • Be able to work cross functionally with many other roles and partners in the company
  • Exceptional communication skills, both within your team and with leadership and partners
  • Deep understanding of and passion for creativity, technology, and advertising
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a thirst for learning
  • Willingness to travel internationally and occasionally work early mornings or evenings based on training delivery dates
  • Ability to work highly independently and lead through considerable ambiguity
