Assistant Product Technologist – London (onsite) – £145 per day Umbrella - 2 months contract – High-end fashion brand
Job Description:
Ready to Wear Production fittings and approvals.
The Assistant Product Technologist assists in garment fittings and oversees necessary adjustments. A delay in filling this role would impact quality control, resulting in potential production delays or the release of products to production.
Managing relationships with external suppliers and ensuring their adherence to client’s quality and technical requirements is a core responsibility. Without an assistant in place, the workload on the Senior Technologist and other team members would become unmanageable, increasing the risk of communication breakdowns and errors.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the Senior Technologist in developing, approving, and improving garment designs and specifications.
Maintain accurate records of product data and technical specifications using the PLM system.
Collaborate with design and supply chain teams to ensure garments meet quality and design standards.

Liaise with suppliers to manage fit and quality checks, ensuring alignment with testing standards and specifications.
