Pay rate: $16-$18/hr. DOE

Responsibilities:

We’re looking for City Launchers to take ownership of their city in a matter of weeks, building and growing our three sided marketplace in markets across the U.S. City Launchers are a critical piece of Client's success in every market. This is an intense, business-side startup role. There's no such thing as a typical day, and to excel, you can't just be smart – you have to be self-motivated, have exceptional interpersonal & relationship-building skills, and be analytical. Our City Launchers handle everything from identifying cultural nuances of a city and defining partner strategy, to acquiring new Merchants, Customers and Clients.

We're looking for strong performers who can move fast to get things done, have a natural aptitude for blending creativity and analytics to devise innovative solutions, and are excited by the idea of bringing Client to the world. If this sounds like you – read on!

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Conduct in-person visits to local restaurants to actively sell Client’s services, expanding our merchant base and enhancing our selection quality.
  • Develop creative recruitment strategies and actively recruit Dashers to build a robust and reliable delivery network, fostering a strong community spirit among Dashers.
  • Drive consumer growth and engagement through innovative local marketing strategies, increasing app downloads, account creations, and DashPass subscriptions, while also boosting activity among existing users.
  • Create and own workflows that keep launch projects on track from beginning to end to build a successful business foundation.
  • Consistently innovate and execute on unique strategies for Dasher, Customer, and Merchant operations in our top priority markets.
  • Generate new business by exploring growth opportunities with new and current partners for the Client Marketplace and other verticals.
  • Bringing new consumers and restaurants to Client.
  • Recruiting Dashers (delivery drivers).
  • Acting as in-person sales representatives to engage local restaurants.

  • You have flexibility in your schedule. You may be required to work any day of the week, across daily operating hours
  • You have experience in a customer-facing or relationship management role

Requirements:

  • Ideal candidates should have a sales background; cold calling experience is nice.
  • Preference for candidates living within 5-10 miles of the assigned market.
  • Candidates must have their own laptop/cellphone.

Nice to have:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree or higher, or are currently pursuing one
  • You have 1+ years of experience in sales, consulting, strategy, business development, operations, technology, banking, analytics, early stage startups or related experience
  • Demonstrable success leading initiatives, establishing and achieving goals, and succeeding in a team environment
  • You have success executing business development opportunities or negotiating partnerships
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus but not mandatory.
