People Operations Specialist
What are we looking for in our People Operations Specialist?
Human Resources Specialist - 12 months contract with possible extension - Hybrid (flexible) - Amsterdam NL
We are seeking a dedicated Specialist People Operations to provide exceptional HR support for employees and managers within an assigned region.
Your primary focus will be to enhance the employee experience by effectively resolving queries and managing processes throughout the employee lifecycle, from hire to termination, excluding recruitment activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer various personnel policies and ensure all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with local employment laws.
- Manage employee data changes, absences, and contract/offer processes.
- Maintain and oversee the global HR system, ensuring data integrity and performing regular audits.
- Respond to employee inquiries, providing accurate information and support.
- Coordinate payroll changes and facilitate regional HR events.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to optimize HR processes.
- Support onboarding for new People Operations Specialists and assist with training.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar HR role or two years in a customer-facing environment, with a focus on data processing.
- Proficient in HR database systems (preferably Workday) and skilled in MS Office and Google Suite.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
