Job Description

Leading national endoscopy and ambulatory surgery firm seeks a Registered Nurse to service as thier Senior Director of Operations to provide clinical support through communications, research and analysis in the areas of ASC regulations and standards compliance and clinical care issues. 

Responsibilities:

  • Foster and facilitate relationships with facility Administrators, Medical Directors and each Facility’s Board of Directors.  The
  • Collaborate with other team members to support new project development and on-going support to facilities.    
  • Research the applicable State agencies to ascertain State specific guidelines for Licensure and Medicare Certification.
  • Determining the appropriate State Agency personnel to communicate with to process licensure and Medicare applications and facilitates such as needed.
  • Prepare State Licensure and Accreditation applications as needed and submits them to the appropriate agencies.
  • Provide follow-through with the appropriate regulatory agency personnel, post-survey, to facilitate receipt of necessary documentation.
  • Assist with orientation of new center staff to establish necessary competencies and ensure completion of applicable paperwork.
  • Serve as first point of contact in identifying clinical/regulatory issues and opportunities within each facility and subsequently communicating, suggesting solutions and ensuring support to the facility. 
  • Create and documenting a systematic on-going Clinical Services Program for the delivery of Physician Endoscopy’s clinical services.
  • Interact with clinical leadership to educate and supporting them in clinical management issues.
  • Conduct onsite audits, utilizing applicable State, Medicare and AAAHC guidelines to ensure adherence to both corporate and regulatory compliance issues.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Registered Nurse
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical leadership experience within an Ambulatory Surgery Center or hospital outpatient center.
