The Scientific Team at Russell Tobin / Pride Health is assisting a top diagnostic organization near Saint Paul, MN to identify the right person to fill a contract Laboratory Assistant opening.

Responsibilities

• Perform various routine laboratory functions to assist the lab professional staff
• Specimen receiving and processing
• Prepare specimens for testing
• Perform routine instrument maintenance
• Perform lab centrifugation of specimens, label printing, recording data, specimen storage and retrieval
• Prepare reagents
• Perform QA/QC duties as assigned
• Maintain a clean work area
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Math and science coursework experience preferred – entry level position they are willing to train.
• Good organizational skills
• Good critical thinking skills

Additional Notes:

• Environment: Fast paced, large lab environment
• Shift: 6am-2:30pm, Tuesday-Saturday
• 3-month contract to possible hire
• Pay rate up to $17.75/hr depending on experience.

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
