ENG Technician II
What are we looking for in our ENG Technician II?
The Scientific Team at Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting a world-class organization that has an opening for Engineering Technician II near Maplewood, MN!
Responsibilities:
Independently conduct tasks and tests in a lab environment,
Assist in the scale-up and qualification of production parts, test method development, and specification documentation.
Utilize and maintain client’s laboratory equipment for product testing and development.
Document observations and data, prepare reports, and communicate test results to project teams.
Prototype new product concepts and assist in the modification of existing products.
Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
Perform routine lab duties including handling customer samples.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university plus a minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience, OR a two-year associate degree (or equivalent) plus a minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience.
Ability to work independently.
Proficiency in data collection and analysis using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
Minimum of 1 year of experience or education with plastic or consumer products.
Minimum of 2 years of experience with product testing or audits.
Basic understanding of CAD software, with 1+ years of experience; Solidworks preferred.
Hands-on skills in a shop environment for building and prototyping.
Additional Details:
- Onsite position
- Position type: 12 months contract opportunity
- Pay rate: $24-$25/hr depending on experience
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
