What are we looking for in our Human Resources Business Partner?
Russell Tobin & Associates is currently seeking an HR Business Partner to work for our client in the Pharmaceutical industry. Apply now for consideration!
Contract: May 27, 2024 - Nov 26, 2024
Location: Kankakee, IL 60916, United States (HYBRID) (First 2 weeks completely onsite)
Pay Range: $40-53.79/hour Based on YOE
Responsibilities:
- Deliver professional, timely, and accurate advice on Industrial Relations queries.
- Serve as a resource for appropriate responses to cases, investigations, mediations, and related issues.
- Build partnerships with Regional Business, Site & HRBP Agile Squad Leads to support planning, development, and implementation of industrial relations strategies.
- Deliver operational excellence in all assignments and projects allocated to the area of Industrial Relations.
- Analyze insights from employee populations affiliated with employee representative committees to drive positive outcomes.
- Lead/participate in projects focused on continuous improvement of the Industrial Relations approach.
Requirements:
- 5+ years HR Business Partner experience in unionized manufacturing environment.
- 5+ years experience handling union arbitrations and contract negotiations.
- 3+ years experience managing union grievances in manufacturing environment.
- Experience working directly with Unions (labor relations issues - unions, building relations with union reps, understanding union contracts and negotiations)
- Demonstrated experience partnering with union leadership in problem-solving.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments/projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
