Data Analyst
What are we looking for in our Data Analyst?
Our client, a large biotechnology company based in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a 340B Data Analyst with healthcare experience.
Contract – W2 Non-Exempt
Location: San Francisco, CA (Onsite)
Pay range: $28.50 - $32.00 per hour DOE
Working under the supervision of the Senior Dispute Manager, the 340B Data Analyst will be responsible for handling activities related to extracting and manipulating large amounts of data related to the Medicaid and 340B programs to assess accuracy and glean insights.
Duties:
- Ensure utilization data in the internal system is refreshed and accurate.
- Analyze discrepancies in data sets for follow-up actions by the Dispute Manager
- Maintain trackers on potential 340B cases and recoupment efforts.
Work in conjunction with the Medicaid and 340B team to confirm receipt of credits within data sets. - Participate in feedback sessions with cross-functional teams to help guide iterative refinements to internal system tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functionally (including Medicaid and 340B Account Team) on ad-hoc projects.
- Consistently follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all guidelines, regulations, and policies.
Requirements:
- Background in working with large data sets.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program (MDRP) or the 340B Drug Pricing program is a plus.
- Ability to track project(s) metrics, monitor results, and report on meaningful milestones.
- Able to identify, summarize, and report insights from complex data sets.
- Able to design, develop, and implement processes and procedures that monitor data refreshes and identify data gaps.
- Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in a healthcare, technology, or related field.
