IT Project Manager

What are we looking for in our IT Project Manager?

Contract: 12-month contract
Location: Remote
Pay-range: $45-51/hour on W2- Depending on experience

What You'll Do:

• Provide a measurable, consistent, and “partner-focused” approach to project management, with end-to-end accountability cross-functionally and at all levels.
• Lead the full lifecycle of multiple, simultaneous projects of varying sizes and complexity for high impact, strategic and business initiatives
• Develop and translate strategic requirements into a project plan, manage project operations including defining project scope, work breakdown structure, deliverables, timelines, dependencies and risks while tracking progress.
• Escalate early flags to appropriate management for decisions and actionable next steps to remove project blockers
• Manage the project stakeholders/team and project schedule for timely completion
• Facilitate project meetings with required teams and stakeholders, including project meetings (internal and at times with external vendors)
• Direct and manage communication with multiple cross functional teams from initiation to project completion.
• Have an understanding of internal systems and processes to bring teams together to accomplish desired goals.
• Hold yourself and teams accountable by communicating role expectations, timelines and enforcing the project management team’s framework and procedures to maintain consistency and operational excellence.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong understanding of IT project management methodologies
• Well organized and can manage ambiguity to rapidly changing priorities
• Possess skills to review workflow, documentation and analyze data to navigate teams through the solutioning process of business issues
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively
• Strong leadership and verbal/written communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively at multiple stakeholder levels, including senior leadership, non-IT and vendors
• Proven ability to develop a project plan, outline scope, navigate risks and decisions, and project timeline
• Possess strong problem solving and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to take supervisory direction, change priorities based upon business needs and work independently

PMP, CSM or work equivalent
